Shotgun Shell Boutonnieres

Every wedding can use a bit of whimsy and it’s customary for it to arrive after the ceremony.

539 copy 2The bride painted spent shotgun shells, attached a pin and some twine. Ambience Florals added sprigs of fresh baby’s breath, lemon leaf, and a rose on the day of the wedding.  BAM. Clearly, a well conceived look with a strong visual impact and just the right amount of lightheartedness.
556Wedding “style” is created by  a well orchestrated theme and a consistent color pallet. Notice how the colors remain uniform and keep repeating, ivory, teal, and camel. It’s a lovely combinations of colors.
407 copy 2There is  an interesting play between formal and rustic. But……and this a big but, it is mostly rustic. By sticking to the mostly rustic theme the formal attire become more interesting. It’s unexpected and charming, perfect for a wedding in a the great outdoors.
